Synopsis

A year's passed since everything went down at the Sanctuary, and Subaru's been grinding to get stronger for whatever comes next. Things are pretty calm until Emilia gets a surprise invitation to meet up in Priestella—the water city—and it's coming from Anastasia, one of her competitors in the royal selection. Since it could be sketchy, Subaru and the crew decide to tag along just in case. Once they're there, though, Subaru runs into some familiar faces, but that's when things get messy. A new threat shows up—enemies who are willing to do anything to get what they want, and they're specifically targeting Emilia and putting the whole city at risk. Subaru has to pull together everyone he can and go all out to shut them down before their plans actually happen.
