Five spooky stories: 1. Tenchi Shinmei Asuna Shio has an unusually strong connection to the spirit world, and she's got a homeless god hanging around as her companion. When her classmate mysteriously vanishes into a mirror one day, she eventually comes back—but something's clearly different about her. Something's wrong. What actually happened to her in there? 2. Gekkouchou ~Hyaku-nen no Koi~ A two-tailed cat with tiger stripes gets adopted by a girl named Mitsu, who names him Torakichi. He's not your average pet, though. The love and tragedy that unfolds between them might be deep enough to survive beyond just one lifetime. 3. Friend Doll Mizuno Sachi basically lives for studying thanks to her strict parents, and she's pretty much friendless. There's a boy at school she likes, but getting close to him feels impossible. Then her stuffed bunny, Mimi, starts appearing in her dreams to help guide her through high school. The question is: what does Mimi actually want out of all this? 4. Tonari no Yomi-san An urban legend tells of a girl named Yomi-san who killed herself over her insecurities about her appearance. According to the story, her father preserved her body, and now it's hunting pretty girls to steal their body parts in pursuit of beauty. At a local school, several attractive students have been seriously injured. Could Yomi-san be back? 5. Oni no Sumu Shima Saki moves to a remote rural area where she has no one. Desperate for connection, she ends up on an uninhabited island and meets someone new—a demon, actually. But the more time she spends with him, the less scary he seems.
