Yoshizou Yukawa is basically obsessed with hot springs—he's got a nose for finding them that's almost supernatural. While hunting for a hidden spring to save a struggling town, he accidentally falls off a cliff and dies. But instead of staying dead, an Inari deity from a forgotten shrine brings him back to life in another world. Now he's got a companion: Mayudama, a messenger princess sent by Inari herself. Yoshizou's hot spring hunter instincts kick in immediately when he discovers a spring and takes a bath with Mayudama. Then an elf girl shows up, and things get interesting.
