Luckily, Professor Ochanomizu—a passionate advocate for robot rights—rescued Tobio from the scrap heap and gave him a new name: Astro Boy. Now Astro's got a job protecting Japan and the world from dangerous threats. Armed with seven special powers and strength equivalent to 100,000 horsepower, he fights evil while trying to prove to humanity that robots are capable of good.
