Synopsis

A girl named Marin Asagi wakes up to find a mechanical sky descending over Tokyo—or rather, an alternate 1970s version of it. Out of this sky comes a Monomakia, a living weapon designed to kill her. Orphaned and desperate, Marin's only hope is Melan Blue, a Gun-Swordsman with weaponized arms, flight capabilities, and retractable armor who's supposedly destined to keep her alive. The story follows Marin and Melan as they travel between two worlds trying to piece together what's really going on. Who's behind the Monomakia attacks? Why is Marin the target? And what exactly is Brigadoon? As Marin digs deeper, these questions become increasingly important to her survival.
