Synopsis

Akane Tachibana's a freshman who's naturally talented at basketball, but he's burned out on sports clubs and quits. That changes when he transfers to Kouzu High and spots another player who actually catches his attention—talented enough to pull him back into the game. He joins the team just in time for their first match: an exhibition against Hyamazaki, the league's powerhouse. Turns out Hiiragi, one of his teammates, has family connections there—his dad coaches the team and his older brother plays for them. When Hiiragi finally gets on the court in the second half, things are rough. The team's struggling, looking like they'll lose. But then one of the seniors throws down a challenge, and something clicks. Hiiragi and Akane start working together, rally everyone else, and pull off a win. From there, it's the beginning of their journey—a group of teenagers grinding hard to reach the top of the league.
