Odd Taxi
In a city that should feel ordinary, something's just a little bit off. Odokawa's a taxi driver living a pretty unremarkable life, ferrying around all kinds of weird passengers. He's the solitary type—no family, no real connections to anyone—and his main hobby is listening to rakugo on the radio before bed. His only real friends are his doctor Gouriki and an old classmate named Kakihana. Through his taxi, he meets all sorts of people: Kabasawa, a college student chasing thrills; Shirakawa, a nurse with secrets; the struggling comedy duo Homo Sapiens; Dobu, a small-time gangster; and Mystery Kiss, a rookie idol group just trying to make it. These conversations—the kind that normally wouldn't amount to much—start connecting the dots to something bigger: a missing girl.
