Synopsis

Annie's joined the Military Police, hoping for a peaceful existence within the walls. But there's nothing peaceful about her past. She's haunted by what she's done and stuck carrying out a mission she can't afford to fail. As the pressure mounts, her roommate Hitch asks for a favor—she wants Annie to investigate the disappearance of Carly Stratmann, daughter of some wealthy trading company president. Annie's hesitant at first, but eventually agrees. Maybe digging into someone else's problems will help her stop thinking about her own. Elsewhere, Mikasa finds herself thinking back on her childhood, wondering what life could've been like if Titans had never existed.
