Synopsis

Five centuries ago during Japan's Tensho Era, a legendary warrior named Kabuto was born—a man blessed by the gods and destined to fight evil. But his greatest trial came when Kuroyasya Douki, the Black Night Demon, clawed his way out of hell seeking revenge against Kabuto's entire bloodline. Douki was devastating in combat, wielding both dark magic and a masterful blade that left no survivors in his wake. Kabuto's only hope came from an unlikely alliance: the four gods of the cardinal directions united to aid him. Even more bizarre was his father's legacy—a sentient sword of questionable morality that became Kabuto's most controversial weapon. With this strange blade at his side and divine intervention from above, Kabuto fought to survive long enough to have sons of his own and pass on his legacy.
