Synopsis

The sky-city of Zalem floats above everything, casting its shadow over The Scrapyard below—essentially a dumping ground for all the garbage Zalem doesn't want to deal with. Humans and cyborgs scavenge and survive however they can in the ruins. Daisuke Ido, a cyborg repair specialist, stumbles across a severed female cyborg head while digging through scrap and decides to rebuild her. He calls her Gally. When she powers up, she has no memories of who she was, but she's content just being around Ido. That changes when she finds out Ido moonlights as a hunter-warrior—basically a bounty hunter for The Scrapyard's authorities. Against his advice, Gally decides to do the same. The moment she starts, her muscle memory kicks in and she realizes she knows how to fight. With this sudden skill, she throws herself into The Scrapyard's violent underbelly, hunting down clues about her past and trying to figure out who she actually is.
