Kitchen Princess
Kitchen no Ohimesama
Najika Kazami loves food—cooking it, eating it, all of it. She grew up at Lavender House, an orphanage in Hokkaido run by someone she cares deeply about named Hagio. Even though everyone there loves her, Najika decides to leave for a culinary academy in Tokyo to chase her dream of becoming a pastry chef. But there's another reason she's leaving. Seven years ago, a boy gave her a cup of flan that meant so much to her she's never forgotten him—she calls him the "Flan Prince." Now 13, Najika realizes the spoon he left behind has the same emblem as Seika Academy, the prestigious school she's just been accepted to. It feels like fate. Najika starts at Seika's junior high program with high hopes. Her classmates aren't exactly warm to her though—they think her obsession with food is weird. But she catches the attention of two brothers, Daichi and Sora Kitazawa, who are both popular and impressed by how talented she is in the kitchen. As Najika settles into academy life, she's got two big questions ahead of her: can she find her place here through cooking, and will she finally track down her Flan Prince?
