Synopsis

In 2001, an alien species called BETA invaded Earth and spent the next two decades conquering most of Eurasia, killing billions in the process. Humanity's response was to develop advanced tactical weapons—basically giant fighting machines. Elite pilots from around the world were recruited to a UN base in Alaska called Yukon as part of the Prominence Project, a US-Russia joint initiative. Their job was to test new prototype weapons, sometimes by going head-to-head against each other to see which designs actually worked.
