Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryuu to Odoru
The story is set in Eridana, a city split down the middle by the Orielal River—one half belongs to the Tseberun Dragon Empire, the other to the Lapetodes Seven Cities Alliance. In this world, people called spell formulists use special weapons called Magic Staffs to cast spell formulas, which are basically magical effects triggered through chemical reactions. They use these abilities to hunt down dangerous creatures known as Beasts of Abhorrent Form—natural monsters that can use spell formulas themselves, like Dragons, Aions, and Enormes. The series follows Gaius Sorel and Gigina Ashley-Bufh, who run a small spell formulist dispatch office together called Ashley-Bufh & Sorel Co. As the only two employees, they take on various jobs from clients that require their skills with spell formulas.
