Synopsis

When spirits slip into the human world, they can inhabit old objects and take physical form as tsukumogami. Some are harmless, others dangerous, and the Saenome clan's job is to peacefully guide them back to the spirit realm before things get out of hand. Hyouma Kunato is part of the clan, but he's not really the peaceful type. A tsukumogami took something precious from him years ago, and he's never gotten over it. His grandfather worries that Hyouma's reckless, anger-fueled approach to dealing with these spirits is going to trigger a supernatural disaster, so he ships him off to Kyoto to stay with Nagatsuki Botan—a weird girl who actually lives with tsukumogami like they're family. Maybe living with someone so at ease around spirits will help Hyouma chill out. Or maybe his rage is just going to consume him entirely.
