Synopsis

Mafuyu Satou has a melody stuck in his head—one filled with regret, longing, and loss. He carries it everywhere, clutching his guitar, but his spacey demeanor keeps everyone from noticing how much it actually weighs on him. That changes when he meets Ritsuka Uenoyama, a guitarist in a band that could become the outlet Mafuyu desperately needs. Uenoyama's band is already doing pretty well as an instrumental group, thanks to bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji. But when Uenoyama hears Mafuyu sing, something clicks. He's drawn to Mafuyu's voice and doesn't take no for an answer—the reluctant Mafuyu gets pulled into the band whether he planned on it or not. Being in a band means dealing with all the messy emotions that come with it. Things can fall apart just as easily as they come together, but the right people can help you through it. With Uenoyama's support, Mafuyu finally gets the chance to let out everything he's been holding inside.
