Omae wa Mada Gunma wo Shiranai
Nori Kamitsuki just moved to Gunma prefecture from Chiba to reconnect with Otoya Todoroki, an old friend who left for the area back in elementary school. Before he even arrives, Todoroki sends him a creepy text warning him to turn back—apparently nobody who enters Gunma ever leaves. Nori ignores the warning and settles into his new school life, where he quickly makes friends. They're determined to show him that all the bad things people say about Gunma are totally wrong. They take it upon themselves to introduce him to everything the prefecture actually has going for it: the local food, the landmarks, how school works there, the vibe of the people—basically everything that makes Gunma different from the rest of Japan. Sure, it's got a reputation as Japan's least popular prefecture, but that's only because nobody's actually given it a fair shot.
