This gag comedy follows Haruo "Cats" Kyattsuyama, a college student who's only actually shown up to his low-tier school, Kunekune College, once in his life. One day he spots an adorable Russian Blue cat named Kan-u sitting abandoned in a cardboard box on the side of the road. He ignores it and keeps walking—for a whole year. When nobody else bothers to rescue the cat, Kyattsuyama finally decides to pick it up. That's when he realizes there are now three Russian Blue cats in the box instead of one. He asks them their names. They all answer "Kan-u."
