But when they're heading home, they learn that the aggressive Kingdom has declared war on Kibi. Their government caves immediately and surrenders without a fight. Rather than accept defeat, the cadets decide to take matters into their own hands and wage war from the Amaterasu itself. To fund the operation, they strike a deal with a galactic news network. The catch? The whole thing becomes a reality show, with the cadets as the main attraction. Problem is, this isn't the kind of reality TV where the worst thing that happens is getting voted off—people actually die.
