Tsuyoshi Mukouda, a 27-year-old Japanese guy, gets caught up in a summoning ritual meant to bring four heroes to a fantasy world. Turns out he was an accident—nobody actually wanted him there. While the other three heroes get proper assignments to save the kingdom, Tsuyoshi gets the short end of the stick and gets kicked out of the palace. His only ability is "Online Supermarket," which lets him access a shop interface to buy modern Japanese groceries. Seems useless at first, but Tsuyoshi discovers that cooking with these ingredients produces food that blows the locals' minds. His culinary skills catch the attention of Fenrir, the legendary wolf, who's so impressed that he immediately agrees to become Tsuyoshi's familiar. With a mythical beast at his side and a talent for making incredible meals, Tsuyoshi settles into life as a traveling merchant and adventurer. He makes a living cooking for people across the world while his newfound companion tags along—and the locals can't get enough of what he puts out.
