Synopsis

Yoshimori Sumimura is a junior high student who moonlights as a kekkaishi—basically a demon hunter who traps his targets with magical barriers. During the day, though, he's dealing with his own demons: a serious sweet tooth and a grandfather who's an absolute grouch. His neighbor and childhood friend Tokine Yukimura is also a kekkaishi, and she's pretty and sixteen, but there's a catch—their families are locked in a bitter rivalry over who's the real master of the kekkaishi arts.
