Synopsis

After humanity celebrates its victory over the Demon King, the demon world holds a tournament to choose his successor. Three months in, the competition is running smoothly—except for one glaring problem: the human hero Helck is dominating it. With an easygoing smile, Helck breeze through his matches against increasingly desperate demons, all while constantly declaring his hatred for humanity and calling for their destruction. But something doesn't add up. Nobody's quite sure what he's really after. Red Vamirio, one of the Four Heavenly Kings who rule the demon realm, starts to suspect there's more going on beneath Helck's cheerful exterior. Determined to figure out the truth, she takes it upon herself to investigate him—because if Helck wins the tournament, the entire demon world could be at risk.
