Mihama Academy looks like a special school for students who don't fit in anywhere else. Really though, it's more like a gilded cage—a place to keep troubled kids contained and out of sight. Five girls live there, each one sent away for her own reasons. They've all settled into routines that work well enough; life at Mihama is quiet and stable. Then Kazami Yuuji shows up as the school's first male student, and everything gets thrown off balance. He's strange and hard to read, and his presence starts messing with the careful equilibrium the girls had going. The question is whether Yuuji ends up being the catalyst that helps them actually move forward, or if their baggage is just too much to overcome.
