Synopsis

After sleeping for two years straight, Laharl wakes up to find his father dead—so naturally, he decides to take over the Netherworld and rule it with an iron fist. The catch? He's got no actual experience being an Overlord. With help from Etna, a scheming demon girl, and Flonne, an oddly naive angel, Laharl's determined to become the greatest ruler the Netherworld's ever had. Of course, he's got to deal with an endless parade of idiot demons challenging him for the throne, stop some interdimensional conspiracy, and somehow keep his own minions from stabbing him in the back. Pretty much a nightmare, but he's going for it anyway.
