Even without knowing about her secret life, Yaya gets treated like garbage by Seri and Moe, who she somehow still calls friends. She tries to stay positive, but it's hard when basically nobody at school talks to her except her bullies and Moriyama, this blunt guy in her class who doesn't really get social cues. Then Nana shows up—tough, no-nonsense, and suddenly way too invested in fixing Yaya's problems. She pays back Seri and Moe for their pranks, beats up creeps who harass Yaya on the street, the whole deal. It feels unreal. But Moriyama keeps running into Nana, and since he sees Yaya every day in class, he starts putting the pieces together. These two girls who seem nothing alike? Yeah, they're probably the same person.
