Synopsis

The kingdom of Lugunica is in chaos after losing its king. With no ruler in place, the royal family's falling apart and the government has to hold an election to pick a new one. Subaru Natsuki accidentally saved an insignia that qualifies Emilia as a candidate, and now he's sticking by her side as things get serious. Once they're in the capital, Emilia makes Subaru promise to stay put and recover from a recent demon beast attack. But Subaru's not great at sitting still—especially when he sees Emilia getting treated like garbage by both the public and the other candidates. Can he actually keep his promise to the person he cares about most? That's the real question.
