While volunteering in Nepal, Korean medical student Sangmin Han meets Sita, a girl with a heartbreaking past. She was once a Kumari—worshipped as a living goddess in human form—but has since been cast out and abandoned by society. They fall in love, marry, and move to Korea together, but their happiness doesn't last long. Sita dies just a year into their marriage. Desperate and devastated, Sangmin pleads with the gods to bring her back. Miraculously, they answer his prayers—but there's a price. He wakes up back in Nepal, only to discover his body has aged significantly. And standing before him is a young Sita with no memory of him at all.
