Mikami Tsubasa has spent a lot of time out of school because of a heart condition. On Christmas Eve, he decides he's done waiting around and runs away from home. He doesn't make it far though—his childhood friend Gin gets hit by a car right in front of him. Panicking, Tsubasa desperately calls out for help. And someone actually answers.
