Father Olivier is having doubts about his faith and decides to track down the legendary beast god G, hoping the creature can grant him a wish. On the road, he runs into a girl named Ohri who claims to be a sorceress from G's island and is heading back there anyway. They team up for the journey. Back at the Vasaria order, Father Messiah is furious that Olivier abandoned them to chase after an evil god. He swallows his pride and hires Suzu, a dark elf bounty hunter, to bring Olivier back by force.
