Synopsis

Ittou Ogami's life falls apart when the Yagyuu Clan frames him for treason and murders his entire family to seize his position as the Shogunate's chief executioner. Only his young son Daigorou survives the slaughter that kills his wife Azami. Stripped of his honor and everything else, Ittou becomes an assassin for hire. He and Daigorou travel across the country together, taking contracts while hunting for revenge against the Yagyuu. As his body count rises, Ittou earns a fearsome reputation—the "Lone Wolf and Cub" becomes the assassin everyone knows to call when they need a job done right.
