Synopsis

The story takes place in a world devastated by a plague that killed 90 percent of humanity—only the dead didn't stay dead. They came back as zombies that hunt the living. Now, thirteen years after this catastrophic "Red Day," the survivors have retreated to remote areas outside the cities, though many still dream of reclaiming them someday. A whole new generation has grown up knowing nothing but this zombie-infested world. The manga follows Aki and her two close friends, Haru and Natsuki, as they set out on a journey to find Aki's missing father.
