When high school student Akio Asakura gets smoked in a street race by a legendary Porsche 911 Turbo called "Blackbird," he decides to hunt down some upgrades. He ends up at a junkyard where he finds a beat-up blue Datsun Fairlady Z from the '70s and buys it on the cheap. Turns out the thing's an absolute monster—tuned to 620 horsepower—and it comes with some seriously dark baggage. The car's been involved in a bunch of accidents, and weird enough, the previous owner had the same name as Akio. Now that he's got the "Devil Z," he's got a new obsession: taking down that Blackbird and the guy driving it, Tatsuya Shima.
