Takumi Iruma wasn't supposed to be summoned to another world at all—he just got caught up in the mix when a group of actual heroes were transported. To make up for the mistake, a goddess lets him pick any skill he wants. Hoping to live a quiet life without all the fighting stuff, he goes with alchemy, figuring it'd be pretty low-key. Turns out alchemy is absolutely broken. He can create anything—holy swords, flying ships, you name it. Suddenly he's loaded, practically invincible in a fight, and running a successful merchant business on the side.
