Synopsis

Oota's a class clown who couldn't care less about his terrible test scores—instead, he's always looking for the next thing to entertain himself with. That changes when he notices Kashiwada, a quiet girl in his class who never seems to show any emotion whatsoever. Intrigued, Oota decides to mess with her, trying everything from pranks to scares to get a reaction out of her. Spoiler alert: it never works. The thing is, Oota can't help being expressive. He wears everything on his face, which constantly gets him in trouble with his teachers. It's basically the opposite of Kashiwada's whole deal—she's a total mystery, completely unreadable, and nobody has any idea what's actually going on in her head. So here are two people who couldn't be more different, yet somehow they end up developing feelings for each other anyway. The story basically asks: if two completely opposite people fall for each other, is that just how attraction works, or is there something deeper going on?
