Synopsis

Keita Amano was just eleven when he got a wristwatch that let him command Youkai. He befriended them and did a lot of good stuff. But as he grew older, he lost the ability to see Youkai altogether. The watch itself became a problem—it threatened to upset the balance between the human and Youkai worlds—so it was sealed away and forgotten. Over time, the whole thing became nothing but legend. Then, after years and years passed, things went wrong. A Youkai virus called Onimaro started infecting people with evil intentions, transforming them into Kaodeka Oni and spreading chaos through the city. With disaster looming, only those chosen by a new Youkai Watch had any chance of stopping it—and saving both worlds from destruction.
