Synopsis

Nyaruko is actually Nyarlathotep, a shapeshifting Lovecraftian deity of chaos who disguises herself as an ordinary silver-haired girl. When high school student Mahiro Yasaka gets cornered by a terrifying black alien one night, Nyaruko jumps in to save him. She then drops a bombshell: all the creatures from H.P. Lovecraft's stories are real alien races, and she's been stationed on Earth specifically to keep him safe from alien traffickers looking to kidnap him. What starts as protection duty quickly turns into Nyaruko moving in with Mahiro—and soon two other Lovecraftian aliens, Cthugha and Hastur, end up crashing at his place too. Suddenly Mahiro's got three freeloading cosmic entities on his hands.
