Nijiiro Days follows four high school guys and their messy daily lives: Natsuki, a hopeless romantic; Keiichi, who's kind of a sadist; Tomoya, a total playboy; and Tsuyoshi, the smart otaku of the group. School's not their strong suit, but they're great at wasting time and getting tangled up in romantic disasters. Everything changes on Christmas Eve when Natsuki gets dumped. While he's crying it out alone, a girl in a Santa costume hands him tissues. He gives her the scarf he'd bought for his ex as thanks. Fast forward to the new school year, and he finds out the girl—Anna Kobayakawa—goes to his school. Naturally, he falls for her immediately and decides to pursue her, even though his friends won't stop messing with his attempts. The volumes also include two one-shots: "Aru Toshi to Sorekara no Watashitachi" in Volume 1 and "Shinbun-bu no Yoriko-kun" in Volume 5.
