Synopsis

Mysterious structures called Dungeons have recently started popping up all over the world. Nobody really knows what they are or where they came from, but that hasn't stopped adventurers and armies from flocking to explore them. The problem? Not a single person has ever made it back out. In a port city in Parthevia, a young guy named Sinbad is about to change his life. He's got heart, he's strong, and he's desperate for adventure. When he does a good deed, he meets Yunan—a strange traveler who's way more capable than his carefree attitude suggests. Yunan tells Sinbad to seek out the "power of the king" and reshape the world by conquering a Dungeon himself. Sinbad doesn't hesitate to jump at the chance. Magi: Sinbad no Bouken is set fifteen years before the original series and follows Sinbad during his early days as a Dungeon conqueror. As he pursues his dream of adventure and builds his merchant empire, he'll face some serious challenges along the way. But with the power of a king on his side, just about anything seems possible.
