Synopsis

Mew is a mythical Pokémon said to be immortal and absurdly powerful. Scientists managed to extract DNA from one of Mew's eyelashes and use it to create Mewtwo, a legendary Pokémon designed to be the strongest ever made. However, Mewtwo destroyed the lab shortly after being created and developed a grudge against humanity while searching for its own purpose and identity. Ash, Misty, and Brock get invited to a castle on New Island under the pretense of meeting the world's greatest Pokémon trainer. Ash jumps at the chance, and when they arrive, they find three other trainers there—Neesha, Fergus, and Corey—who were all invited because of their skill. Turns out their mysterious host is Mewtwo itself, and it challenges all of them to battles using clones of their own Pokémon.
