Two best friends made a promise back in junior high: they'd stick together no matter what. Years later, they're still inseparable—Himari, an upbeat girl who hasn't experienced romance yet, and Yuu, a quiet guy obsessed with plants and flowers. They spend their days together in the gardening club, comfortable and content. Things get weird when Himari jokingly says that if Yuu can't find anyone to marry, she'll have to do it herself. His brother takes this way too seriously and won't stop calling Yuu "brother-in-law." It's funny, but also. awkward. Then Yuu bumps into his old crush, and suddenly everything changes. The easy dynamic they've had for years falls apart.
