At the end of the Meiji Restoration, a girl saint was crucified and burned alive for her faith. A century later, Katori and six childhood friends get summoned to her world beyond nirvana. They're given a mission: build a kingdom and convert all nations to their cause. Here's the catch—every midnight, each of them is randomly assigned a role: King, Queen, Noble, or Peasant. And the lower ranks have to obey the higher ones. So they need to conquer the world and defeat other nations, all while trying not to tear themselves apart from their own conflicting desires and the power dynamics forcing them together.
