Synopsis

Tatsuya Yoigoshi used to be a decent middle school soccer player, but he's done with sports. Years of dealing with hot-headed coaches and backstabbing teammates who'd spread rumors about him killed any interest he had. Now that he's in high school, the soccer team keeps trying to recruit him based on his reputation and actual talent—but he's not interested. Instead, he's decided to become a livestreamer and just chill after school. Then Souma Azemichi, a first-year student, shows up trying to get him to join the kabaddi team. Yoigoshi's skeptical, but he agrees to at least check it out. He figures kabaddi's some obscure sport, so it won't be a big deal. Turns out he's completely wrong—it's these massive dudes grappling and battling it out hand-to-hand, and it's intense. The team's so persistent about recruiting him that his only real way out is to actually try the sport for himself.
