Dennou Shoujo☆Mink
Minku Shiraishi is a 14-year-old obsessed with Illiya, the lead singer of the band Jagunna. When she and her friends—fellow fan Mahoko and tech expert Kanoka—go to pick up Illiya's new CD, they accidentally grab something else instead: a mysterious CD-ROM called "Wanna-Be" with a copyright date of 2099. When Kanoka installs it, they discover the software can generate virtual characters based on real people. The trio decides to create a virtual version of Minku based on her stardom dreams, calling it "Cyber Idol Mink." But things go wrong fast—the character materializes, merges with Minku, and suddenly everyone in Japan is searching for this mysterious pop idol after she appears on live TV. To make matters worse, Om, the program's mascot, warns them they're about to be "deleted" for using technology from the future. Spooked by the chaos and Om's threats, Minku wants to shut the whole thing down. That changes when she finds out a new friend is in serious trouble—and she realizes she can help by going public as Cyber Idol Mink. Plus, hey, it's not like she didn't want to be famous anyway. Included one-shot: Volume 6: Yamaneko-za wa Ittousei (The Wildcat Constellation)
