Wata no Kuni Hoshi
Chibi-Neko is an abandoned kitten who doesn't realize what's happened to her. She has no idea she's a cat, let alone that she's different from humans—as far as she's concerned, she's a human girl who just hasn't grown up yet. Everything changes when a guy named Tokio finds her and takes her in. He's fresh out of high school but failed his college entrance exams, so he's pretty lost about his future. Chibi-Neko quickly develops feelings for Tokio and becomes convinced that if she just waits long enough, she'll transform into a human and they can get married. That dream comes crashing down when she spots Tokio in the park with another girl—and it's clear he's into her. To make matters worse, a mysterious cat named Raphael keeps showing up to tell Chibi-Neko the hard truth: she's a cat and always will be. There's no becoming human. So what's she going to do now?
