Tasogare Schrödinger
Kuranosuke has had the ability to fly since childhood, but there's a catch—it only works when he's with his best friend Jou Beckman. When Jou got sick and ended up in the hospital, they were separated for five years. Now that they're finally reunited, Kuranosuke wants to rebuild what they lost, even though Jou seems reluctant to pick up where they left off. One day while walking home, Jou's condition flares up badly. Panicking, Kuranosuke darts into a shop to grab him some water for his cough, but instead stumbles through a portal into a strange place called Schrödinger Manor. A weird woman there tells him he's the "Plus Alpha"—basically a human with magical powers—and she's been hunting for him. But then it turns out Jou is actually the Plus Alpha, not Kuranosuke. The revelation throws a wrench into their friendship as both of them have to figure out what their bond actually means.
