Urumi Kurose is a withdrawn, antisocial woman who just started working as a teacher. On her first day, she shows up to find an empty classroom with nothing but a laptop. Then a girl suddenly appears from the screen, introduces herself as Urumi's student, and explains that her actual job is to "download the other students and help them graduate." Reluctant at first, Urumi eventually agrees to take on this bizarre task—and surprisingly, she starts to enjoy it.
