Synopsis

The island of Growerth off the coast of northern Germany is ruled by Viscount Gerhardt von Waldstein, a vampire and surprisingly decent guy who goes by the title Master of the Night. His open-minded approach to, well, everything has made the island a haven for supernatural misfits—vampires, witches, werewolves, you name it. They all crash at Waldstein Castle, though the viscount's most important residents are his twin kids, Relic and Ferret. Not far away sits the city of Rukram, run by a loudmouth Dhampyr mayor who's got a serious grudge against the viscount. The area also hosts a woman with an unusual appetite for vampire flesh and a shapeshifter dealing with some serious identity issues. Then there's the Organization—a shadowy group of vampires cooking up some kind of scheme. What exactly? Nobody knows. Probably not even the vampires involved. Vamp is Ryohgo Narita's vampire series and an early entry in the Naritaverse, the shared universe that also includes Baccano! and Durarara!!
