Kidou Senshi Gundam ZZ
This series picks up right where Zeta Gundam left off, following the AEUG battleship Argama as it continues its fight against Neo Zeon (the reformed Axis Zeon). Captain Bright Noa brings in a scrappy group of teenage junk collectors to pilot the ship's mobile suits, with the brash but naturally talented Newtype Judau Ashta leading the charge. The team gets equipped with some serious firepower: the massive Double Zeta Gundam, the returning Zeta Gundam, the Gundam Mk-II, and the Hyaku Shiki. They become known as the Gundam Team, and they're pretty much always working together in battle—something that would become a staple for future Gundam series. Everything comes to a head during the massive Battle of Axis at Side 3.
