It's 2035 in Japan, and things are bad. An incident called "Burst" happened after scientists got too ambitious researching artificial life. An AI named Matter basically destroyed the Kurobe Gorge, and the government locked down the research city—supposedly humanity's last hope—from the rest of the world. Two years pass. Fifteen-year-old Aiko Tachibana lost her family in the Burst, and she's been living with that. Then a transfer student named Yuuya Kanzaki shows up and tells her something she never knew: there's something hidden inside her body. And apparently, if they want answers, they need to head to the Primary Point—ground zero of the whole disaster. When these two kids meet, they end up carrying humanity's future on their shoulders. The question is what they'll actually discover at the center of it all.
