Synopsis

Elianna Bernstein, known as the "Bibliophile Princess," has always been more comfortable with books than people. But as a noble, she's expected to marry. When Crown Prince Christopher Selkirk Asherald offers her a deal—he'll let her keep her reading time if she agrees to be his fiancée in name only—she jumps at the chance. For years, the arrangement works perfectly. Elianna slowly opens up to him, and their time together becomes genuinely happy. But eventually, their fake engagement is supposed to end. For someone who loves books more than she loves people, that should be fine. Except it isn't. When Christopher starts getting close to another girl, Elianna realizes she's developed real feelings for him—and doesn't want to let him go.
