Seventh grader Hayashi Renei keeps having the same recurring dream. In it, her brother—who died in a car accident—comes back to life in a place called Coo. Night after night, the dream returns. Coo turns out to be a dark, brutal world, even harsher than reality, filled with pain and suffering.
